Long, a first-time catamaran owner, spent years researching before choosing the Lagoon 43 for his global sailing adventure starting in France.
“It has fully met my expectations. The size is just right for me, spacious but manageable, and very livable. After two months and over 2,000 nautical miles of sailing, I’ve been very happy with its performance. The interior layout, saloon design, semi flybridge, and included configurations perfectly suit my family’s lifestyle and the way we entertain friends on board.
If what you really want is a valuable, challenging, and rewarding life experience, then absolutely go for it. This kind of journey is absolutely worth it.”

Lagoon Catamaran Charter Boat Investment Journey – Mike
Six years after purchasing a Lagoon 40 for charter in the Whitsundays, Mike reflects on the decision that exceeded expectations.
“We approached the charter boat investment with a business mindset. We modelled everything conservatively, and honestly, it’s performed better than expected. Even through COVID, we averaged around 165 charter nights a year, and the boat held its value far better than we’d anticipated.
The Lagoon 40 hit the sweet spot, it’s the perfect size for the Whitsundays market. Less intimidating for first-timers, and a strong performer in bookings.
The boat was delivered basically ready to charter.
After six years, I’d absolutely do it all again. It’s been a positive experience from start to finish, and if we go again I’d be looking at the Lagoon 43.”

Lagoon 46 Favourite Features Real Owner Testimonial – Mike and Linda
After 2 seasons of sailing the Med on their Lagoon 46 Mike and Linda shared what they love most, “The Lagoon 46 has given us a whole new level of freedom and comfort. I love the Code Zero sail for light wind performance, and Linda’s favourite spot is the flybridge, it’s where everyone gathers when we’re sailing. With a watermaker and generator on board, we’ve been able to explore more remote places and stay cool during the heatwaves in Greece. It’s made the whole experience effortless and enjoyable.”

Why We Chose the Lagoon 46 – Two Time Lagoon Owners – Linda and Mike
Two-time Lagoon owners share how their love for the brand, “We fell in love with Lagoon when we bought our first catamaran, the 380. She was easy to sail and the perfect introduction to catamaran cruising. But the Lagoon 46 is next level. It gives us the extra space we need to entertain family and the confidence to cruise the oceans of the world. We chose it over the 42 for that little bit more room, and when we finally saw it in person, it was an emotional moment. You don’t realise how beautiful these boats really are until you see one in the flesh.”

How Couple Found Their Dream Boat – Lagoon Review – Helen
Meet Helen who found her dream boat in the Lagoon 450S, “My favourite thing is the owner’s cabin—it’s so spacious. We call the cockpit the ‘sunroom’ because it’s where we spend so much time. It’s brilliant. But the best part is the connection with family, exploring together, and watching sunsets.”

A Journey with the Lagoon 42: Owner Story – Lisa and Greg
Here’s why Lisa and Greg made the decision to buy a Lagoon 42 and why they are loving it., “We’d heard great things about Lagoons, and what stood out was how many owners stayed loyal – buying one Lagoon, then another, and another. That really spoke to us. The Lagoon 42 is the perfect fit for us as a couple, especially with the helm so well connected to the rest of the boat. Living aboard has been not only doable but genuinely enjoyable. From the Sunshine Coast to the Whitsundays, we’ve had so many incredible experiences already.”

The Lagoon 42 Is a Very, Very Nice Boat – A Bluewater Owner’s Review – Drew and Eloise
Drew Hakin is no stranger to ocean crossings. After plenty of research and hands-on experience, he chose the Lagoon 42 as the perfect catamaran for his global adventure, and it hasn’t disappointed.
“We looked around quite a bit, and investigated the opposition! We went for the Lagoon based on a number of things. The 42ft is the right size for us, and she has a good feel when under sail. She has a good mix of features we wanted in a catamaran… the combination of layout and space was just what we were looking for. Importantly, the Lagoon 42 sails well short handed. I am used to a large monohull, sailing single handed. Comparably, the 42 is extremely easy to sail.
The 42 is a very, very nice boat. I’d be hard pressed to fault it. Usually with a new boat, after a while you find things you’d like to be different, but there’s little of that with the Lagoon, it has been very well thought through.”

Sail to Motor Yacht: Changing from Lagoon 52 to Lagoon 630MY – Peter
After two years aboard a Lagoon 52 sailing catamaran in the Mediterranean, Peter Rawson decided it was time to return to his motor yacht roots. Seeking comfort, efficiency, and dependability, he turned to the Lagoon 630MY, and hasn’t looked back since.
“I originally bought the Lagoon 52 to try something different and planned to sail across the Atlantic. But I quickly realised I had little patience for the Mediterranean’s unpredictable winds. As a lifelong motor yacht owner, I couldn’t resist the comfort and control of the Lagoon 630MY. I chose Lagoon because it’s a trusted and well-recognised production brand, and the fuel efficiency of the 630MY really stood out. At the time of purchase, I remember thinking, ‘This is a very green choice for a motor yacht.’”
